Associate — Private Equity (Corporate), Houston

We are seeking associates (law school class years 2021–2023) to join a Houston-based private equity team within a national/international corporate practice. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors and corporate clients on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, joint ventures and other complex transactional matters.

Successful candidates will have substantial experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing deals from inception through closing, and advising on general corporate matters. The position requires a business‑oriented mindset, strong commercial judgment and the ability to take on significant responsibility with autonomy.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission or eligibility
• Law school class years 2021–2023
• Practical experience advising private equity sponsors or corporate acquirers on M&A, dispositions, minority investments or joint ventures
• Proven drafting and negotiation skills for transactional documents
• Ability to manage complex deals, exercise sound judgment and work independently
