Capital Markets Associate — Securities, Houston

Mid-level associate role in a national securities and capital markets team based in Houston. The position focuses on public and private debt and equity offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and PIPE transactions, together with SEC reporting and public company disclosure work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising issuers and underwriters on transactional documentation, securities law compliance, stock-exchange obligations and corporate governance matters. The team handles a broad range of capital-raising and public-company representation work for operating companies across industries.

Admission to the Texas State Bar is required. The group welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• 3–6 years' securities/capital markets experience at a large law firm
• Experience with public and private debt and equity offerings, IPOs and follow-on offerings
• Familiarity with SEC reporting, public company disclosure and stock-exchange compliance
• Strong drafting, transactional documentation and client-advice skills
• Admission to the Texas State Bar
