Associate — Private Healthcare (Clinical Negligence)

Experienced clinical negligence associate to join a national healthcare litigation team with offices across the UK. The role focuses on defending private insured clinical negligence and related professional liability claims on a hybrid basis, with opportunities to work on inquests and judicial reviews.

The team acts for insurers, private hospitals, clinicians and NHS bodies on a wide range of clinical negligence and medical malpractice matters. This is a practice for candidates who want regular client contact, responsibility for complex files and exposure to coverage and regulatory issues.

• Qualified in England & Wales (Solicitor or CILEX) with 3+ years' post-qualification experience handling clinical negligence or related professional liability claims
• Demonstrable experience managing high-value or complex claims and attending client meetings and business development events
• Knowledge of insurance coverage and medical indemnity matters
• Strong drafting, advocacy and client-facing skills; able to work in a hybrid pattern across UK offices
