Associate, Public Law Litigation (Sydney)

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join a busy Public Law / Administrative Law litigation team in Sydney. The role involves running public law matters, appearing in courts and tribunals, and advising government clients across Commonwealth and State jurisdictions.

The team handles a wide range of judicial review, administrative law and complex public sector disputes, with strong ongoing government work and opportunities to develop advocacy and courtroom experience. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are offered.

• 2–5 years post-admission experience in administrative / public law and litigation
• Experience advising or acting for Commonwealth and/or State government agencies
• Proven courtroom and tribunal advocacy skills, including running subpoena objections and responding to procedural requests
• Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills; ability to manage a busy caseload to competing deadlines
