Associate to Senior Associate — Compensation Litigation, Sydney

An established Australian compensation litigation team is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Sydney office. The role focuses on statutory compensation and administrative law matters, advising self-insurers and government agencies across Commonwealth jurisdictions.

Day-to-day work includes managing claims, supporting litigated proceedings and regular advocacy before administrative tribunals. The team offers structured mentorship, varied matter exposure and a supportive, collaborative environment with flexible working arrangements available.

• 2–7 years post-qualification experience in insurance, compensation or administrative law (or closely related practice).
• Experience advising on statutory claims and/or acting for self-insured entities or government agencies preferred.
• Strong tribunal/advocacy exposure, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and effective client-facing communication.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment; openness to flexible/part-time arrangements.
