Lawyer / Associate, Public Law — Sydney

Join a national public law team in Sydney handling high‑profile government and administrative law matters. The role offers hands‑on litigation experience across merits review, judicial review, interlocutory hearings and appeals, with early advocacy responsibility and solicitor advocacy opportunities.

You will work in a collaborative, high‑volume practice advising public sector clients and appearing in federal courts and tribunals. The team uses modern legal technology and supports flexible, sustainable ways of working.

• 1–4 years PQE in public/administrative law
• Admission in Australia and eligibility to practise locally
• Experience or strong interest in government litigation, merits review and judicial review
• Clear drafting, advocacy capability or desire to build advocacy, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines and high‑volume caseloads
• Commercial awareness, client‑focused approach and good digital literacy
