High-performing US real estate team in New York is seeking an associate to support real estate finance, acquisitions and joint-venture matters. The role will work closely with senior real estate counsel and across practice groups on corporate/project financings, purchases and sales, post-closing obligations and bankruptcy-related real estate issues.

The position offers responsibility for managing deal workflows and substantive drafting, with exposure to complex transactions and cross-disciplinary matters. Candidates should expect a fast-paced practice with significant client-facing and transaction-management duties.

Members of the classes of 2020 022 with prior associate experience in real estate.
Practical experience in real estate finance, acquisitions and joint-venture transactions.
Experience conducting and managing real property diligence, including title review.
Track record drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, security instruments, leases and ancillary documents.
Strong academic credentials and ability/desire to work across practice groups.
