Senior litigation role in a major international firm’s construction disputes team based in Melbourne. The role involves advising on complex, multi-party construction and infrastructure disputes across domestic and cross-border matters, using litigation and arbitration processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting claims and disputes strategy, drafting key court and tribunal documents, coordinating experts and external counsel, managing discovery and evidence, and guiding clients through regulatory investigations and related commercial issues. Candidates will be expected to take ownership of files, work closely with senior lawyers, and, at the senior level, supervise junior team members.

  • Australian legal qualification and admission
  • 4–6 years PQE in construction litigation and dispute resolution
  • Experience with arbitration and multi-party construction disputes
  • Familiarity with regulatory issues (e.g. competition and sector regulators), international private/public law or related commercial matters is highly regarded
  • Strong drafting, advocacy and client-facing skills; organised, resilient and a team player
