A finance associate role for an experienced corporate lending lawyer to join a global banks-focused team in Glasgow. You will work on high-quality, cross-border lending transactions from term sheet through to close, including facility and intercreditor agreements, security documents and post-closing steps.

The role offers hybrid working, regular client contact, opportunities for secondments and budgeted learning & development. You will be part of a collaborative team, expected to supervise junior colleagues, liaise with local counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters and contribute to business development and firm-wide initiatives. Familiarity with AI document tools and a willingness to develop AI capabilities is important for this role.

4-8 years PQE in corporate lending / banking at a private practice firm
Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, intercreditor and security documentation
Experience on multi-jurisdictional financings and working with local counsel
Strong client-facing skills, commercial judgment and business development interest
Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
Comfortable using AI drafting/research tools and developing AI capabilities
