Seeking an associate to join a busy banking & finance team handling corporate lending and real estate finance matters. The role involves acting for a broad range of lenders and borrowers on domestic and cross‑border transactions.

The team operates across multiple UK offices and collaborates with an international network, so the role offers exposure to cross‑office and international matters. The position is permanent and hybrid, with opportunities for training, business development and use of firm precedents and know‑how resources.

2–5 years' post‑qualification experience in banking/finance (Scots and/or English law candidates considered)
Experience on corporate lending and real estate finance transactions, dealing with lenders and borrowers
Strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills; ability to manage competing demands
Team player who can also work independently and demonstrate initiative; commercial problem‑solving skills
Interest in business development and client relationship management; adaptable to change and able to use legal technology
