We are seeking a senior lawyer to join our leading Real Estate practice, focusing on residential development work. This role offers the opportunity to advise a wide range of clients on complex, high-value residential projects, including land acquisition, planning obligations, development agreements, and disposals.

You will work as part of a national team with a strong reputation in the sector, handling matters across the UK. The role involves managing your own caseload, supporting more junior colleagues, and contributing to business development initiatives.

Advising on all aspects of residential development, from site acquisition through to delivery and sales.
Drafting and negotiating development, option, and promotion agreements.
Liaising with planning consultants, housebuilders, and other stakeholders.
Supporting the growth of the practice and mentoring junior team members.

You will ideally have solid experience in residential development work gained either in private practice or in-house, with a good understanding of the legal and commercial issues affecting the sector.

Qualified solicitor or equivalent with strong technical skills in real estate law.
Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
A collaborative and proactive approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality advice.
