Associate / Senior Associate, Insurance (Catastrophic Loss) — Manchester

Join a nationally recognised catastrophic loss team within a major UK insurance practice. The team acts for leading insurers on complex, high-value defendant personal injury and liability matters, handling cases such as road traffic accidents, employers' liability and public liability.

This is a hybrid role based in Manchester (minimum office attendance two days per week) with responsibility for managing a multi-track catastrophic loss caseload, leading junior fee-earners, advising on liability and quantum, and running litigation and settlement strategy.

• Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE.
• Proven experience leading defendant multi-track catastrophic loss and personal injury matters, including RTAs, EL and PL.
• Experience on high-value claims (advantageous if used to matters in the c.£150,000–£20m range).
• Strong technical knowledge of liability and quantum in personal injury work, with excellent analytical and advocacy skills.
• Ability to lead junior team members and maintain strong client relationships.
