Associate – Catastrophic Loss (Manchester)

Join a nationally recognised catastrophic loss team in Manchester handling high-value, complex defendant personal injury matters for leading insurers. The role offers exposure to multi-track catastrophic loss caseloads including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability and public liability claims.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of regular office attendance. You will work on your own caseload and support senior lawyers on larger, high-value matters, advising on liability, quantum and litigation strategy and leading settlement negotiations where appropriate.

• Qualified solicitor with 3–7 years' PQE.
• Experience on defendant multi-track personal injury / catastrophic loss matters (RTAs, EL, PL).
• Familiarity with high-value claims (circa £150,000–£20m) advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of liability and quantum; excellent analytical, drafting and advocacy preparation skills.
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Strong academic background and effective organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of two days in the Manchester office per week.
