Join a national insurance defence team in Manchester handling casualty claims with a focus on fraud identification and defence. The role sits within a dedicated Casualty Fraud function and involves managing a mixed caseload of predominantly fast-track fixed-fee claims, with some multi-track matters depending on experience.

You will run your own files under supervision, undertaking liability investigations, client and opponent liaison, court contact and witness handling. The team works with internal intelligence and counter-fraud resources and receives instructions from insurers and insureds across commercial and public-sector matters.

Up to 7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
Proven experience managing defendant EL/PL casualty claims (essential)
Experience handling casualty fraud matters or interest in claims validation and fraud (desirable)
Working knowledge of Personal Injury, Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Highways law
Ability to manage own caseload, meet SLAs/KPIs and achieve chargeable targets
Strong communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills
