A leading international healthcare team is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its Medical Law group in the UK. The role is open across multiple UK offices on a hybrid basis and will focus on Court of Protection and urgent medical treatment matters alongside broader healthcare advisory work.

You will advise on a range of sensitive clinical and capacity matters including serious medical treatment applications, deprivation of liberty issues, mental health and capacity advice, inquests and Judicial Review. The team acts for NHS bodies, healthcare providers, insurers and individual practitioners on complex, high‑stakes matters and offers a collaborative, nationally integrated practice.

Minimum 3 years' UK‑based relevant experience in medical law, Court of Protection or related fields
Strong knowledge of Court of Protection procedures, mental capacity law and mental health law
Experience handling urgent healthcare declaration applications, deprivation of liberty matters and inquests
Comfortable advising NHS bodies, healthcare providers or insurers on complex clinical and safeguarding issues
