Associate, Strategic Equity Derivatives — New York

Join a leading capital markets practice in New York as an associate on a strategic equity transactions team. The group advises on complex equity derivatives, equity-linked financings and convertible offerings across cross-border matters, supporting issuers, banks and institutional investors.

The role offers hands-on deal work involving financing, hedging and monetization transactions, convertible and preferred equity financings, structured repurchases and structured acquisition products. You will develop deep product knowledge across securities, tax, secured transactions and restructuring issues while working on high‑stakes, market‑leading matters.

This position reports into the corporate/capital markets practice and works closely with colleagues across offices to provide global coverage on large, sophisticated transactions.

• 2–6 years' transactional PQE (candidates at the 3rd–6th year level encouraged to apply)
• Background in capital markets, derivatives (ISDA) documentation, secured transactions, or bankruptcy/restructuring preferred
• Strong US securities law knowledge or demonstrable transactional structuring experience
• Excellent drafting, analytical and teamwork skills for fast‑paced, deal‑focused work
