An established national insurance-defense team is seeking a litigation Associate to join its Subrogation & Recovery group in Miami. The role focuses on prosecuting and defending claims for property damage, product defects, construction-related losses and related insurance matters in state and federal court.

The successful candidate will manage case work from investigation through trial, work with forensic experts across disciplines, draft pleadings and motions, take and defend depositions, and appear at court hearings. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to try both bench and jury matters and to work closely with senior litigators on complex matters.

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida bar.
Approximately 5 years of civil litigation experience, with preference for experience in product defect, property damage, construction defect, or property insurance claims.
Experience coordinating with forensic experts (e.g., origin-and-cause, mechanical, structural, chemical, accounting) preferred.
Proven drafting, legal research, and oral advocacy skills; trial experience a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced practice; willingness to travel as required.
