Associate, Tax (Executive Compensation & Benefits) — Munich

Senior associate position in the tax team of a major international law firm’s executive compensation, employment and benefits practice based in Munich. The role focuses on advising clients on the tax aspects of executive remuneration, employee benefits programs and related corporate transactions.

Work will involve advising on a range of matters from compensation arrangements in M&A and capital markets transactions to multi-jurisdictional employment and benefits issues, collaborating with colleagues across offices to deliver integrated, commercially-focused solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in tax, with a focus on executive compensation and employee benefits
• Proven experience advising on tax aspects of compensation arrangements, benefit plans and related corporate transactions
• Experience on cross-border / multi-jurisdictional matters and working in integrated global teams
• Strong drafting, analytical and client-facing skills
