Associate, Tax (Real Estate) — Los Angeles

Well-regarded national law firm is seeking associates to join its growing tax group in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on tax matters with a significant real estate and REIT component.

Successful candidates will have strong technical tax research skills, demonstrated interest or experience in real estate/REIT work, and excellent writing, oral advocacy and analytical abilities. The team handles complex, often novel tax issues and looks for attorneys who can think creatively to solve them.

• JD and bar admission (or pending); law school class year 2022 or later
• Solid technical knowledge of tax law and strong legal research skills
• Experience or demonstrable interest in real estate matters, including REITs
• Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
• Top academic credentials and a capacity for creative problem-solving
