A leading global law firm is seeking a real estate associate to join its real estate practice. The role may be based in any of several major U.S. markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami. The associate will support and/or lead sophisticated commercial real estate matters across acquisitions and dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and development transactions. This position offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of real estate transactional work and to work closely with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents; managing due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, environmental, and organizational documents; and coordinating closings from signing through completion. J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
3–5 years of relevant real estate transactional experience
Strong legal writing, drafting, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with title and survey review, zoning/condominium review, and other diligence components
Experience with complex commercial real estate purchase and sale, finance, development, leasing, and/or investment transactions
Experience coordinating closings and managing transaction documentation from signing through closing
