Associate — Technology Transactions (Intellectual Property)

Mid-level associate (3+ years' experience) wanted for a leading U.S. technology transactions practice. The role is open in multiple U.S. offices (Boston, New York, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica) and sits in a group that handles complex commercial and IP-related technology matters for early‑stage and public technology companies.

Work will include negotiating and documenting software and technology licenses, cloud and SaaS arrangements, commercial contracts, and advising on IP and commercial issues in M&A and other corporate transactions. You will collaborate closely with corporate teams on deals across the technology and life‑sciences sectors.

This is a hybrid role with comprehensive benefits. The anticipated salary range is $260,000–$390,000; a discretionary performance bonus may be available.

• 3+ years of law firm experience in technology transactions, IP, or commercial contracts
• Deep knowledge of intellectual property and contract law; experience with software, SaaS, licensing, and cloud arrangements
• Experience advising on IP/commercial aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions
• Barred in the hiring office state or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar; superior academic credentials and strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work hybrid and collaborate with cross‑practice deal teams
