Capital Markets Associate — Securities, Houston

Mid-level capital markets associate role in a Houston office of a global law firm. The team advises on a full range of equity and securities offerings, including IPOs, follow-on public offerings, private placements and related ’34 Act matters.

The role involves representing issuers, underwriters and placement agents on transactional work, drafting offering documents, coordinating due diligence and closing processes, and working closely with senior deal teams. • 3–5 years of capital markets / securities transactional experience (IPOs, follow-ons, private placements)
• Admission to the Texas bar (active)
• Experience representing issuers, underwriters or placement agents on public and private offerings
• Familiarity with Exchange Act (’34 Act) disclosure work is a plus
• Strong drafting, deal-management and teamwork skills
