Catastrophic Injury Senior Solicitor – Liverpool

Join a national large-loss personal injury team handling high-value defendant PI work, including motor, employers' liability, public liability and product liability matters involving catastrophic injuries (brain, spinal, amputations and dependency fatality claims).

The role involves managing a caseload of catastrophic and high-value PI matters, assisting senior lawyers, instructing experts, preparing reports and strategy, attending hearings and client conferences, and supervising more junior team members. The position operates on a hybrid basis.

The team expects adherence to professional protocols (CPR, data protection, rehabilitation), delivery against KPIs and targets, and continuous engagement with legal developments in high-value PI.

• Qualified solicitor with 2–10 years' PQE
• Experience managing a defendant personal injury litigation caseload (motor or EL/PL preferred)
• Comfortable with high-value/large-loss matters or willingness to develop in this area
• Proven ability to run own matters: investigations, instructing experts, reporting and court attendance
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organisation, IT skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience supervising or mentoring more junior fee-earners
