We are seeking a Solicitor with 1–3 years PQE to join a national casualty team defending public liability and employers' liability claims. The role sits across multiple UK offices and will involve managing a personal caseload of litigated EL/PL matters, working with senior fee-earners and supporting client-facing work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include running liability and quantum matters, handling disclosure, drafting witness statements and client reports, preparing for hearings, and instructing counsel and experts. The team handles defendant-side instructions from both insureds and insurers and includes specialist casualty and fraud capability.

This is a client-facing role with strong progression opportunities for candidates who are proactive, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years PQE in casualty/insurance litigation
Current experience of handling employers' liability and public liability claims
Proven ability to manage your own caseload, including disclosure and litigation case management
Good drafting, legal research and CPR procedural knowledge
Strong communication, time-management and IT skills; able to work independently and in a team
