Join a national specialist team advising charities, higher education institutions and commercial clients on charity law, governance and commercial trusts. The role is open across multiple UK offices and offers exposure to technically interesting, cross-practice matters.

Work includes charity governance and regulatory advice for universities and other not-for-profits, support on commercial activities and spin‑outs, and market-leading commercial trusts work linked to insurance, financial services and employee benefits. The position offers training, mentoring and opportunities to contribute to thought leadership.

The role can be shaped around your existing strengths in one or more of these areas, with support to broaden your expertise across the practice.

2–6 years' post-qualification experience, with charity law, higher education governance or commercial trusts experience
Strong technical drafting and advisory skills; able to explain complex legal issues clearly to clients and stakeholders
Commercially minded, collaborative and client-focused with good organisational skills
Interest or experience in charity tax/IHT advantageous
Willingness to travel periodically to meet the wider team
