Short-term (12-month FTC) in-house style role within a law firm’s Risk & Compliance team, based in London with hybrid working. You will be the primary reviewer and negotiator of client-facing contracts and terms, advising across the business on compliance questions and protecting the firm’s commercial and regulatory interests.

The position is global in scope, working with multiple internal teams to implement client commitments, ensure solutions are suitable for the business and clients, and contribute to the function’s commercial-facing offerings. You will build and maintain stakeholder relationships to embed consistent contract and risk standards.

Qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience reviewing and negotiating client contracts and engagement terms.
Practical understanding of compliance, risk management or in-house legal advisory work; prior law firm experience advantageous.
Strong commercial judgment, problem-solving and clear written/verbal advocacy.
Discretion handling confidential matters and the ability to work across multiple teams in a global environment.
