Fixed-term (12 months) associate role within a commercial disputes team in the Leeds office, joining a national project handling contentious matters for a major client.

The role involves working on general commercial disputes with exposure to litigation and arbitration; prior experience on defender personal injury files would be advantageous. You will collaborate with colleagues across UK offices and support delivery of pragmatic, commercially focused dispute resolution strategies.

The team handles a wide range of disputes, deploys court and arbitral proceedings as needed, and works closely with non-contentious teams to understand underlying transactions. This is a good opportunity to gain high-calibre, varied dispute work in a supportive, collegiate environment.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with litigation experience
Experience in commercial disputes; defender PI experience advantageous
Strong drafting, advocacy-support and communication skills
