About You

You are an experienced commercial disputes lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.

Your Experience & Expertise:

  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial disputes and litigation matters in either a private practice, government or in-house legal environment
  • Strong experience supporting the day-to-day management of dispute matters, including strategy development, risk assessment, stakeholder management and matter coordination
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with external legal providers, review legal advice and oversee the delivery of legal services to ensure positive outcomes
  • Experience providing practical, risk-based legal advice to internal clients on contentious matters and dispute management strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple dispute matters concurrently while maintaining a high standard of legal analysis and stakeholder service
  • Experience working on construction, infrastructure or major project disputes, including contractual disputes, claims management and project-related risk issues
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work closely with operational teams, executives, government stakeholders and external advisers
  • Ability to work autonomously and take carriage of matters while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience operating within a government, infrastructure, transport or public sector environment would be highly regarded

  • Capable of quickly understanding complex legal, commercial and operational issues and providing practical recommendations for action
