Commercial Litigation Associate — Litigation

National law firm has an immediate opening in its virtual office for a Commercial Litigation Associate with approximately 4–6 years of experience. The role focuses on managing all phases of complex commercial litigation, working primarily with the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation practice group.

Responsibilities include conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in settlement negotiations, and direct client communication. Candidates should be able to work with a high degree of autonomy on demanding matters and enjoy courtroom and pre-trial litigation work.

Applicants should reside in Michigan or Ohio and maintain an active bar license for the state in which they reside (candidates licensed in both states are preferred). The firm values strong academics, excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of performing well under pressure.

• 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience handling all phases of complex litigation (investigations, discovery, motions, depositions).
• Experience with labor & employment litigation matters preferred.
• Ability to manage cases with a high degree of autonomy and to take and defend depositions.
• Resident of Michigan or Ohio with an active state bar license; candidates licensed in both states preferred.
• Strong academic credentials, excellent judgment, superior interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
