Short-term (3 months) full-time, hybrid opportunity for an experienced company secretary to lead an organisation's company secretariat and Board governance functions in Sydney. The role involves ownership of Board and Committee administration, forward planning and high-quality governance support for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include managing agendas, papers, minutes and actions; maintaining corporate governance records and calendars; preparing and reviewing Board and Committee packs; and providing pragmatic company secretariat and governance advice to Board Chairs, Directors and senior executives. The role also involves supporting regulatory, inquiry or assurance responses relevant to the secretariat function.

This is a hands-on role for a seasoned governance professional with significant experience in listed, licensed or highly regulated environments and strong familiarity with the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and contemporary company secretarial best practice.

  • Minimum 10 years' company secretariat / governance experience.
  • Proven ability to lead a company secretariat function for Boards and Committees.
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and corporate governance best practice.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, including supporting compliance for licensed/clearing entities and responding to regulatory requests.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement with Chairs, Directors, executives and regulators.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
