Apply in confidence →3-month full-time contract (hybrid) supporting a large wholesale distribution organisation. This hands-on role sits within the company secretarial/governance function and will involve end-to-end administration of board and committee processes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and coordinating board and committee papers, drafting and reviewing resolutions and minutes, maintaining governance registers and policies, and managing meeting logistics. You will work closely with directors, senior executives and internal legal and governance stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years' company secretarial or in‑house legal experience (private practice experience accepted)
- Practical experience preparing board packs, resolutions, minutes and maintaining governance documentation
- Proven ability to coordinate Board and Committee meetings and liaise confidently with Directors and senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and willingness to manage both substantive and administrative secretarial tasks
- Right to live and work in Australia; an Australian practising certificate is not essential
