Solicitor — M&A, Sydney

Mid-level solicitor role within a busy Mergers & Acquisitions team based in Sydney. The role offers hands-on involvement in public and private M&A, cross-border transactions and related corporate work including fund formation, joint ventures, restructures and capital raisings.

You will work directly with senior deal lawyers on high-value, complex matters for asset managers and institutional investors. The team emphasises technical excellence, practical commercial advice and a strong focus on professional development and mentoring.

• Qualified solicitor with 3–5 years PQE
• Proven experience on complex public and private M&A and cross‑border transactions
• Some exposure to laws applying to managed investment schemes and fund-related work
• Strong technical drafting and commercial advisory skills; ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience advising institutional asset managers or investors preferred
• Collaborative team player with a commitment to client service and professional development
• Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident or appropriate visa)
