A national Compensation & Benefits team is hiring an Associate to work on executive and equity compensation matters. The role supports transactional and public-company work, including equity plan design, executive compensation, and related employee benefit issues.

Typical matters include proxy disclosure, employment and severance agreements, tax-qualified and nonqualified plan compliance (including IRC Sections 280G and 409A), and compensation aspects of M&A and IPOs. The team offers a full professional benefits package and support for career development.

  • 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in compensation & benefits/ERISA work
  • Practical experience with equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosures, and employment/severance agreements
  • Familiarity with IRC Sections 280G and 409A, and compensation issues in M&A and IPOs
  • Strong academic record with excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills
