Seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join a national law firm’s conflicts and ethics team. This hybrid/remote role supports matter openings, lateral-hire clearance, and ongoing conflicts maintenance across multiple U.S. offices.

The role involves researching and analyzing conflicts reports, clearing new matters and lateral attorneys, advising attorneys on waivers and ethics walls, drafting waiver language and engagement letter revisions, and using conflicts software to document and resolve issues. The position will partner closely with ethics counsel, recruiting, claims, and practice teams to ensure timely, compliant matter intake.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in one or more U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience clearing conflicts, drafting waivers, implementing ethical walls, and opening matters at a large law firm.
  • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience with Intapp Conflicts (or equivalent conflicts-management software).
  • Proven experience handling lateral-hire clearances and new-business intake processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, strong organization and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
