Apply in confidence →Seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join a national conflicts & ethics team. This hybrid- or fully-remote role can be based in Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City and focuses on researching, reviewing and resolving conflicts of interest for new matters and lateral hires.
The role requires daily use of conflicts software to analyze reports, clear or escalate potential issues, document conflict-resolution steps, and assist with matter openings. You will draft waiver letters and ethics walls, review engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines, advise attorneys on clearance status, and deliver training on conflicts and professional responsibility.
The position works closely with ethics counsel, recruiting, claims, and firm attorneys across offices and involves occasional special projects and policy interpretation.
- JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and active bar membership in one or more U.S. jurisdictions.
- At least 2 years' experience clearing conflicts, drafting waivers, implementing ethics walls, and opening matters at a large law firm.
- Minimum 2 years' hands‑on experience with Intapp Conflicts (or equivalent conflicts system).
- Strong written and oral communication, analytical rigor, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities and work with stakeholders at all levels.
