Experienced attorney to join a global firm's Legal Risk Management team in Chicago to manage conflicts-of-interest clearance for client matters. The role works closely with lawyers across domestic and international offices to identify, analyze and resolve ethical and business conflict issues.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and resolving conflicts reports, coordinating search requests, advising on engagement letters and waivers, and supporting new-business intake. The role also contributes to projects on conflicts best practices and maintains awareness of ethics rules across relevant jurisdictions.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission
Experience with conflicts clearance, legal risk, or ethics advisory work in a law firm or in-house legal department
Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
High attention to detail, analytical problem-solving ability and capacity to manage multiple assignments independently
Comfort learning and using conflicts software and other legal intake systems; familiarity with ethics rules across jurisdictions preferred
