Construction Site Accident Associate — New York

Seeking an associate to join a busy New York construction-defense team focused on defending catastrophic construction-site injury claims. The role is based in the firm's New York office and supports an established Labor Law practice handling matters under New York Labor Law §§ 200, 240 and 241.

Typical work includes managing litigation from pleadings through trial preparation: drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The team represents a diverse range of parties including owners, developers, contractors, construction managers and insurers.

• Admitted to the New York bar.
• 1–15 years' experience defending construction-site accident and New York Labor Law claims (including Sections 200, 240, 241).
• Solid litigation skills: drafting pleadings and discovery, motion practice, and deposition experience.
• Strong legal writing, analytical ability, and time/project management skills; self-starter able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
