Mid-Level Associate, Complex Commercial Litigation — New York

Top-tier New York litigation team is seeking a mid-level associate to join its complex commercial litigation practice. The role involves managing significant, high-stakes cases in federal and New York State courts across all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities include case management and strategy, supervising discovery in large matters, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and supporting trial preparation. The team handles multi-party, document-intensive disputes and expects strong drafting and oral advocacy.

• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience at a top law firm or equivalent federal clerkship experience
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Proven experience managing discovery in large cases, including e-discovery and coordinating document review
• Strong research, drafting, motion practice, deposition and trial-preparation skills
• Excellent academic credentials, organization, analytical and communication skills
