Our New York office seeks an associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our Dispute Resolution practice. The role supports complex commercial litigation and disputes, including class actions, multi-district litigation, international arbitration and internal investigations.

Candidates will draft pleadings, conduct discovery, brief motions and prepare for depositions. Experience in a busy large law firm litigation practice, including taking and defending depositions and arguing motions, is strongly preferred. A former clerkship with a federal district or circuit court judge is a plus.

Applicants must be admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar. A cover letter, transcript, resume and writing sample are required with the application.

3–5 years of litigation experience
Admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar
Experience drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions and preparing for depositions
Strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills
Large law firm experience in a busy litigation practice strongly preferred
Experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions preferred
Federal district or circuit court clerkship a plus
