Opportunity to join a global legal consulting panel supporting major banking and finance assignments in Hong Kong. Typical engagements are multi-month consulting placements advising on lending, syndicated loans, leveraged and real estate finance, subscription lines and equity-backed or hybrid financings across Asian markets.

The role suits a self-directed, technically strong finance lawyer who wants flexible, assignment-based work with access to firm-grade resources, training and professional support while operating as an independent consultant.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of: England & Wales, US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Prepared to operate via a Personal Services Company where required
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in banking & finance at a top-tier law firm
Strong technical experience in general lending, syndicated loans and leverage/real estate finance; Asian market experience preferred
In-house secondment or legal experience at financial institutions/corporates is an advantage
Self-starter with excellent communication, client-service orientation and commercial acumen
