A consultancy opportunity for an experienced capital markets lawyer to join a global consulting panel focused on multi-month assignments, typically supporting transactions and clients across the region. Roles will involve advising on debt and equity capital markets matters, including bond programmes, convertible/exchangeable instruments and IPOs.

The role is suited to a self-starting, client-focused lawyer who wants flexible, project-based work with access to firm-level resources, training and professional support while operating through a personal services/consulting arrangement. Assignments will be international in scope and often work alongside multi-disciplinary teams.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of: England & Wales, US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Willing to operate via a Personal Services Company / consulting vehicle
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in capital markets at a top-tier law firm
Experience across debt and equity capital markets (bonds, MTN, convertibles, IPOs) and strong Asian markets knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client-service focused
Commercially minded, resilient, adaptable and able to work autonomously on complex, cross-border matters
