Seeking experienced capital markets lawyers to join a national consulting panel supporting debt and equity transactions across Australia. Assignments are project-based and can include roles embedded in client teams or short-term engagements with law firm teams.

Work will cover debt capital markets (investment-grade and high-yield bonds, MTN programmes, sovereign, convertible/exchangeable instruments) and equity capital markets (IPOs, equity offerings, block trades), as well as liability management exercises. Opportunities are flexible in duration and typically structured as consulting / casual engagements.

Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) — experience at a top-tier law firm, major financial institution or corporate/secondee experience preferred
Proven technical experience in debt and equity capital markets transactions (bonds, convertible instruments, IPOs and equity offerings)
Ability to work independently as a consultant or as part of multi‑functional, multi‑national project teams; strong client-service, communication and commercial skills
