A global legal consulting platform is building a panel of commercial real estate lawyers to support client and firm-side projects across Australia. The role suits self-directed lawyers who want consulting-style engagements (ad hoc, fixed-term or secondment opportunities) and access to high-quality, often cross-border work.

Typical assignments include acquisitions, financing, development and disposals of commercial real estate; leasing, facilities/management and procurement agreements; construction contracts; real estate M&A; and investment fund and REIT structuring. Engagements are flexible in duration and working pattern and may be on-site with clients or on an advisory basis.

Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
Right to work and reside in Australia
Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with top-tier firm or leading financial/corporate secondment experience
Strong technical experience across commercial real estate matters: leasing, construction, acquisitions/disposals, financings and fund/JV structures
Proven ability to work autonomously on client-facing assignments and in multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional teams
