This role suits self-directed consultants seeking varied short- to medium-term placements focused on employment law in media and entertainment sectors.
Assignments typically include in-house secondments and ad-hoc project work with durations commonly ranging from two to twelve months (often part-time or four days per week). Appointments give access to firm resources, training and a dedicated consultant support team; work is offered on a demand-led basis and is not guaranteed.
- Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
- Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in employment law; experience at a top-tier firm, in-house or on secondment desirable
- Solid experience advising on general employment law and exposure to employment disputes/litigation
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and client-service skills; able to work autonomously on multi-jurisdictional projects
