A global legal consulting panel is building its Hong Kong funds and asset management capability and is seeking experienced consulting lawyers for six-month+ assignments. Consultants work either within the firm's practice teams or directly with financial institution and fund clients on transactional and regulatory matters.

Typical workstreams include fund formation and establishment (retail, private and alternative structures), fund offerings, registration, distribution and marketing, investment management arrangements (including custody and prime brokerage), and regulatory/compliance matters for asset managers and funds. Assignments offer flexible, project-based engagements while providing access to professional support, training and knowledge resources.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of England & Wales, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Prepared to operate via a Personal Services Company (Hong Kong)
Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in funds/asset management at a top-tier firm
In-house or secondee experience at a financial institution preferred
Strong commercial awareness, client-service focus and ability to work autonomously on multi-jurisdictional projects
