An established global law firm's consulting platform is building a panel of experienced banking and finance lawyers for Hong Kong-based assignments. Typical engagements are multi-month consulting roles with leading clients across Asia, covering syndicated lending, leveraged and real estate finance, subscription lines and hybrid/equity-backed financings.

The role suits a self-directed, technically strong lawyer who wants the flexibility of consulting while retaining access to firm training, knowledge resources and professional support. Assignments offer variety, international exposure and the opportunity to work on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions without relocating permanently.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of England & Wales, US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Prepared to operate via a Personal Services Company (per local guidance)
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in banking & finance at a top-tier firm
Strong technical lending experience; familiarity with Asian syndicated loan markets preferred
In-house secondment or financial‑services experience advantageous
Self-starter with commercial awareness, excellent communication and client-service focus
Resilient, adaptable and able to work on complex multi-national matters
