Short-term consultancy role within a global firm's consulting platform, supporting derivatives, structured finance and securitisation matters. Assignments are typically six months or longer and involve transactional and advisory work across OTC derivatives, synthetic and cash securitisations, structured equity and structured credit, and commodities-related transactions.

The role suits a self-directed, technically strong lawyer who wants flexible, high-quality assignments while retaining access to firm training, knowledge resources and professional support. Consultants will work on cross-border, multi-party projects and interface with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in derivatives / structured finance at a top-tier law firm
Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of: England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Strong technical experience in OTC derivatives, securitisations (cash and synthetic), structured equity and structured credit; Asian experience desirable
Self-starter with excellent communication, client-service focus, commercial awareness and ability to operate in multi-jurisdictional project teams
Prepared to operate through a Personal Services Company (per local guidance)
