Opportunity for litigation and dispute resolution lawyers to join a national consulting panel supporting varied assignments across Australia. The role is within a legal consulting programme that places experienced lawyers on fixed-term or ad-hoc engagements with clients and with the firm's practice teams.

Typical matters include financial services disputes, contentious regulatory investigations and commercial or banking litigation. Assignments range in length and often allow flexible working arrangements; consultants are engaged as casual employees or via an independent legal practice.

The panel offers access to practice support, training and a consultant-management team to help source and manage placements, while allowing lawyers greater control over their working pattern and client exposure.

Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE), with experience in commercial litigation, financial services disputes or banking litigation
Experience in contentious regulatory investigations preferred
Self-starter comfortable working autonomously or as part of multidisciplinary, multi-jurisdictional teams; strong client-service, communication and commercial skills
Willingness to engage as a casual employee or via an independent legal practice and to accept flexible/variable-length assignments
