Experienced litigation associate needed for a national, multi-office financial services practice. This role is open across multiple U.S. offices (including a virtual office); candidates licensed in CA, FL, NJ, NY, or OH are strongly preferred.

The team defends financial-services clients in state and federal court matters, with regular work under consumer protection statutes such as the FCRA, FDCPA, and RESPA. Ideal candidates will also have experience representing mortgage servicers or originators in contested foreclosures, quiet-title actions, title disputes, and related litigation.

Applicants should demonstrate strong academic credentials, excellent judgment, the ability to manage multiple matters, and effective written and oral advocacy. Bar admission in the hiring office’s state (or a commitment to obtain it promptly) is required. A competitive compensation package is offered; specified salary ranges apply in certain states.

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably defending financial services companies in state and federal court
  • Working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and other consumer-protection laws
  • Experience with mortgage-servicing or mortgage-originator litigation (foreclosure, quiet title, title disputes) preferred
  • Active bar license in the state of application or commitment to obtain one promptly
  • Strong academic record, solid interpersonal skills, and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
