Remote contract attorney role supporting a firm's litigation practice through its alternative staffing program. The attorney will manage and support a high volume of third-party subpoena requests and litigation responses for institutional clients, working closely with firm litigators as part of a collaborative team.

This is a full-time contract engagement (initially six months) averaging 30–35 hours per week with flexibility to increase to 40 hours as needed. The role is remote but requires availability for West Coast business hours and strong case-management skills to handle multiple matters and competing deadlines.

  • 5+ years' litigation experience at a mid-size or large law firm and/or with large institutional clients.
  • Active bar admission in your state of residence and in a state where the firm maintains an office (eligible states include AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, MT, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, DC, WV).
  • Demonstrated experience responding to and negotiating third-party subpoenas and managing high-volume programmatic matters.
  • Experience representing or supporting large technology or consumer-facing companies preferred (e‑commerce, retail, tech).
  • Excellent drafting, communication, negotiation, and client-service skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively under short deadlines.
  • Availability to work an average of 30–35 hours per week and to support West Coast hours.
